He's not wrong Brian. Sloshing fuel is different that flipping your tank upside down. It's not going to spill everywhere but there will be noticeable wet diesel spots

It will be just fine ;)

The ball floats, so if fuel tried to come back up the vent, it shuts. when fuel drops back down, vent opens.

Brian, unless your rollover vent is different then mine, they definitely don't float. Before I changed my setup I had fuel coming out of the vent and mine was setup identically to yours.

Got everything routed/installed, put 5 gals in it and drove to fuel station, broke the cap with the nozzle.:(

no sloshing out of the vent , but got home and put a 3' looped 1/2" line on it in case it did.

Also going to put a ground wire on one of the mounting bolts this weekend.

Well maybe I'll have a project for this winter now. Thanks for nothing guys!

I am looking at putting in a 32 gallon however because I'm not too worried about weight. :thumb:

Weighed the truck today.

3580 front
2180 rear
5760lbs gross

15 gallons of fuel (3/4 tank)

This was with my 22's, so with the radials it will be right at 200 lbs lighter.

Based on my old weights, it looks like I moved 120lbs to the rear end. Good enough for me.
