Hey guys i bought another ccsb lly and i did a 4" straight pipe on it. I like the sound just not the drone anyone ever do the fte resonator. If so the 17" or the 30" i dont want to loose too much of the sound just kill the drone at highway speed. I dont think im going to like it with the 5th wheel on the back

I've got a 4 with muffler and I've never noticed a drone. People seem to like the fte and says it does the job

Worked great for me. I used the short one. My buddy got the longer one and it was too quiet.

BTW - Make sure to mount it as far upstream as possible!

I run one with a mbrp muffler. S475 drones bad. And it killed alot of it.

I run the 4x30 on my lb7 and lbz, I Have it up front on my lb7 in conjunction with my sinister diesel muffler which still drones, its alot quieter with 2 mufflers but the drone has quieted down quite a bit. The lbz I have it in place of the muffler and that's how I wish I did the lb7. Its quiet when ur gentle and loud when you get on on it, but no drone to speak of, but the lbz also has a low cruising speed having 6 gears. IMHO:hello:

I just swapped my FloPro 5" Muffler for their 5" resonator to reduce the drone. Works perfectly and its 14". I believe FloPro makes the FTE ones, or it may be the other way around. Any larger than 14" and I believe it would be too quiet out the exhaust.

I ran a 4" with the 30" FTE and muffler. It's not much louder than stock (The whole point) and has zero drone. If you want some exhaust note, get the 17".

I just added the 17" MBRP resonator due do the demands of the local court. I'm actually pretty pleased with the results. Idle is a bit more quiet, but still gives a nice exhaust note. Full throttle has had zero change from the straight pipe. The biggest change was in the drone at cruising rpm's, it is almost non-existent. In fact I can hear more turbo whistle now which give me a warm and tingly feeling.
