For those that didnt see this at the place when I bought it in Oct 08. Here are a couple before and after pics of my shop building.

Got it at the county tax auction for $650 plus some tax and fees brought the total to $740.

1800 sq ft

2 blocks from my house.

Just finished the front siding today. Going to paint the rest to match.

yeah, thanks... I had forgotten about this and gotten rid of my envy... Now it's stronger than ever! Looking good bud. That's got to be the score of a lifetime! Congrats.

Does not look like the van will be fitting in there for mods... Kinda short building or is it the pic? Nice steal and it looks much better now congrats

van fits, barely. it rubs the trim pulling in. dummy me put 265's on the van instead of 245's, they're an inch taller.

did I mention the 3/4 acre asphalt parking lot it came with too?:D

Thanks for the compliments! Been getting alot of people stopping by while I am working on it too. I've lived here 10 years looking at that eyesore. sure is a nice change when i look out the window at it now

Thanks for the feedback on that. They did seem pretty happy about it.
if youre still there, Derek(?) promised me some goodies for doing it:D:D

Not a big deal, I would have done it anyway.

my work equipment out grew the garage at home. moved most of it down there. wife might be able to park in the garage this winter. well let me rephrase that, I'll be able to park the wifes car in the garage at home this winter.(the garage at home is an old barn with those sliding doors I know shes not going to mess with)

Once I finish painting the building going to take an area at the far right end, about 20X10 frame it into 2 rooms. one side for headted storage for my liquid chemicals, and the other room will be an office/hideout. The rest of the building will be truck/van/trailer parking and equipment/supplies storage. Maybe a GTG once in awhile too.

Had a bunch of family over this weekend. plenty of room to spread out. Sister brought her dogs, kids spilling drinks, no problem...

Keeping my eye open for a good deal on 6 foot fence. I'd like to fence in the whole parking lot
and rent out outdoor storage.

Well, that lasted 2.5 years. when they repaved the street the concrete crew splashed concrete all over the front, 5ish feet high, all the way down. got to file a claim, get an estimate for the materials & labor, and redo the siding & doors.
