So I currently have an E-Locker. Thinking of removing it and putting in a Truetrac locker. No switch just true 4 wheel drive when I put it in 4 wheel drive.

Correct, it's the fact that it's not engaged that is going to stress that bearing. Granted,I can't imagine you guys put a ton of miles on these trucks?
Dylan and I, at least, both run welded front carriers. Both drive on the street, and both pull and race fully locked up. He has more road miles on his than mine, probably 10k miles. No issues yet.
That doesn't hurt the front tires turning?

Only when in 4wd. The disconnect in the passenger side axle is disengaged in 2wd.I know they won't be under power/ locked with the rear and can still turn at a different speed. But still the passanger and drivers side will always turn the same speed from now on. And to not ruin tires the outside wheel has to spin faster than the inside on a turn. I've already lost my ackerman steering with the straight centerlink. This will just make it even worse on tire wear. Or am I mistaken?
