Ah, Ya I know what your saying..I could feel it but I don't think it was ever a problem..maybe because the 37"s were already scrubbing before the kit went on.

Just depends on your wheel setup and driving area. Lots of off set increases scrub radius and in town driving means more lock to lock steering.

I know my truck ate the corners off my 37s with a Ppe centerlink on it years ago. I did a lot of in town driving in a small town though and my fabtech lift knuckle design did not help things. Also made it a bitch to turn on ice. Front end would push, grab, push, grab. Really not fun when moving around tight shit

Exactly why my new truck will be getting the straight centerlink pulled off and a stock put on with the dhd brace. I had a straight link and HATED it! Tire wear, scrubbing, etc.. For a dedicated pull or race truck I might have one. Not on a daily

i think people need to clarify what they mean by "straight centerlink". they are not all the same. i see guys refering to kyrptonite stuff as straight centerlinks as if its the same as a PPE straight centerlink. the two of them are completely different animals in steering. the kyrptonite will still have leverage on the pitman/idler arm though its roughly 1/2 as much as a stock centerlink would have. the PPE setup has 0 leverage on the arms. the Kryptonite setup will have some scrub to a tight turn but not much more that stock where the PPE setup will add alot (amplification of this can happen from wheels and knuckle design if lifted/lowered with a knuckle).

I got fabtech tie rods and they've held up better than I thought. I wouldn't hesitate buying another set.

And extra 150 bucks for a lifetime warranty? No thanks. You do realize you need to send in your broken parts before they will send you replacements. So if you need your truck you'll be heading to the parts store to buy a replacement anyway. That makes sleeves easier to deal with. If you could get them off in the salt belt.

That's what got me with my DD/work truck. Ball joint went bad and so I just used the krypto rods and put quality heims on. Now I'm good!

Depends on which kryptonite center link one chooses to run vs the PPE. Either way our kryptonite are a much more fierce animal. You won't see one of ours flex, break or bend! We replaced one center link for a crack in the end, caused by a front end collision. We have yet to get a bent, or broken center link in (knock on wood)

the race cut krypronite with factory style inners and or our heim joint inners is a true race set up. Will experience 20-25% turning radius loss depending on wheel and tire combo and off set.

The street to strip (SS) kryptonite (same straight center link as the race cut, just offered in a different end mounting configuration) will allow for spindle style inner tie rod ends, this will have only a 3-5% turning radius loss but still be extremely capable of handling extreme power through the front end or not so friendly front end set ups. Just a more friendly set up for street use but can handle the track!!!

As for the warranty on the XD line, 3 year no questions asked, period. the kryptonite, life time warranty, no questions asked, period. A wife of a customer just wreaked his truck, we replaced his entire kryptonite front end with new kryptonite parts, for his new truck!!!

Ask Wade minter, Trippple max or Verlon Southwick with the edge race truck if they have broken any of our tire rods or center link!

Both of the center links will cause some sort of turning radius loss and some sort of tire wear during hard clocking turns from tire push/roll, just one less than the other and one set up for dedicated race and one for street both both extremely strong!
