Went to the local drag strip tonight. My buddy had a hard launch and hopped bad. It rides completely smooth and straight in 2wd, but in 4x4 it has a very noticeable vibration and pulls HARD to the right. Is this likely CV shaft related?
Holy crap! Was this Jim's truck?? And how hard did he leave to do all this? For anyone interested, this ended up being a broken pitman arm, broken idler arm, and the control arm ripped out of one of the brackets. Tie rods were mint though haha, it had sleeves.

lol. I have my bars lowered a bit because I was playing with a couple 6.0s the other night. I can't turn at all with the 305s but my front end is in one piece. Hopefully I can get up in the next few weeks. I think I need a lockup box though. Converter is taking forever with the new tuning. Sometimes its not locking til 4th.No, it wasn't Jim's truck, it was one of our other friends. He left at about 6lbs of boost but had torsion bars pretty much cranked all the way up to clear his tires, he started launching in 4wd with no boost because of this, but you know how that goes. Each one that went smooth "well we'll give it a little more off the line" until this disaster. I was in the passenger seat and it was quite a ride!
When are you heading up to the track Steve?
