Help: Front Drive Shaft

K guys i got the famouse bind when in 4x4 with my truck it had 9"-11" CST Lift and my question is will a double cardan / cv shaft hold up to lots of hp or is there diffrent ones that are rated for my 500+hp or what

Ive read that on just wasnt sure what all you guys were puching for hp neglected to read the sigs but like i said im pretty sure i got to use double cardan / cv shaft and get the rest build but the guy that is gonna do it said it was only good for 500hp ish give or take and it will snap that why i was woundering what all these other guys were running with there big motors and 4x4 dragging and pulling

You could try re-clocking the t-case but I had that same lift on one of my trucks and it worked fine with the stock drive shaft.

k i havent tried it i was jw before i go spend the money on getting it built and first time i step on it it snaps thats all just trying to see what everyone uses for these hp levels but i will get it built and go from there i guess thx for the input

Is the front diff shimmed?

This shaft didn't work out all that well for me :roflmao: went back to the stock shaft and never looked back.
