Alright so I noticed my front diff is leaking oil.

I'm not going to be hopeful and think its the vent tube, I have 250k miles on my 03 lb7

First question is that I'm using amsoil 75-90 and I'm wondering if its okay to top it up with another kind of diff oil?

Second question is I don't have time to change the S.O.B. how long can I leave it for? Leak doesn't seem that bad.

I have a busy work schedule and won't be able to change it for 14 days. Think I will make it?

Ill try to call a shop to get it done for
Tomorrow but I doubt anyone has time

eureka il
probably not the best to be mixing oils, and it will probably be fine for a while. mine leaked for a month at least before i changed it. and they are a real pain to change sometimes.

Its took me 15 minutes to change mine. Drain it. And refill it with a 5$ fluid pump from the auto parts. That makes everything easier. Mixing the 2 fluids isn't a good idea. Do it yourself if you have 15 min to spare and save $$$$ :thumb:
