Friends in need

Some of mine and my wifes really good friends home burnt down, they were lucky to even survive. The fire alarms never sounded.

Only reason they woke up was from their dogs barking at them. They are fairly young couple with 3 kids. The husband is 27 and the wife is 26. The kids are very young.

Well they lost everything, there is a charity set up for them. They are in bad need of clothing. But even prayers would be helpful if you can't give anything.

Here is what they are needing.

A charity fund has been set up at The Bank of Herrin 101 S Park Avenue, Herrin IL 62948 Phone (618) 942-6666, ask for the "Dusty and Brooke Colp Benefit Fund." A list of clothing sizes is below.

Boys: 2T and 5-6
Girls: 10-12
Adult female: Pants 6, Shirt S-M
Adult Male: Pants 36 x 30, Shirt L-XL

same thing happened to me and my family when i was about 8 yrs. old; lucky to escape, total loss...same deal. i'm more than happy to extend the same generosity that my family and i recieved almost 30 years ago. send my regards and remind them that despite how they may feel now, they are truly blessed
