LLY: Friend needs some help!!!

Is their anyone near Langley Oklahoma that has an EGR blocker plate for an 05 LLY?

My sisters boyfriend is on his way to Phoenix and his EGR valve is possibly stuck open. Dealership wants $700 to replace the EGR but we are doing a full delete with EFI Live when he gets here.

I hate for him to spend that kind of money on something that could be easily blocked with a $15 part.

got a guy on DF that is about 70mi N. of the KS/OK state line in the central part or N side of Wichita

has blocker plate and egr motor

Maybe have him pull the egr motor off, it's only on with 4 screws. Then push/ram the valve back and forth and maybe it will free it up? I did that to a truck that was running like crap and throwing codes and it cleared it up, granted I did also pull that top intake pipe on top of the egr.

Some aluminum trim coil and snips can get you a plate in a few minutes that will last "a little" while.....Shouldn't be that hard to even find something a bit heavier to carve one out of, something like galvanized ducting.

My first plate was done exactly that way since there was no LBZ plates at the time.
