Fricken powerchoke

So im headed home from work and aas soon as i pull out of the parking lot, i got a 7.3 (might have been a old 6.slow) thats turning left as well. He musta came from strictly diesel, not too sure though. Anyhow, cool guy decides to pull out slow into traffic and as soon as i pull out as well, he punches it and semi smoke me out.

I kinda start crackin up and get on it some to catch him. He keeps hittin it every time i get close trying smoke me out i guess. Well he finally slows some so i punch it and go by him making sure he hears the 475 singing as i have to turn right and im not sittin behind cool guy tryin to smoke me out.

Well lo and behold hes turnin right too. So we both turn (him right behind me), i see him Start smokin again so i hit about 1/2 throttle and hes neither gaining nor falling behind as we head for the on ramp. I let it go for about 300ft then i rolled into it hard and just walked away on the highway on ramp like he was standin still

I even slowed to about 55-60 on the highway so he could catch back up but he never got more than 6 car lenghts behind me. I think he realized he picked on the wrong duramax lmao. Been a while since someone tried racin me

I had one roll up on me on the freeway about 3 weeks ago. Looked like a 6.0 and he had a shit ton of stickers on the door like he was on the NASCAR circuit or something. Anyways I am doing about 65 and see him come up on me fast. He gets right next to me and starts to floor it again so we both take off from a 65 MPH roll. I got up to about 120 and was ahead of him by at least 8 car lengths. After I slowed down he passes by and flips me off like I am the asshole for beating him in a race he started.....damn ford drivers! Lol

Seems the only time someone wants to play is when I am almost done with a full tank tuning for mileage. Always a tough call: do I race, and have to do another full tank before I know if my tune changes helped my MPG; or do I leave it on cruise control and let them think I am slow/intimidated?? When I'm not trying to get a mileage reading, no one wants to play
