very very cool. you'll have a rcsb w/a dmax and i'll have one with a cummins... but i'll be lower and you'll be faster:cool2:

you gonna make it 4wd or keep it 2wd?

how hard is it to find a RHD dash over there:cool2:

You going to have it as low as the dually?
Im partial to 2wd for the drags and 4x4 in the bush. All going well the front wheels wont be on the ground much :D
They make the mirror image dashes here. If you want one let me know.

I would like to get about the same truck. But I want to swap the front diff from a 2500 over to it and the rear diff. and twin it and have it slammed.

HD has a stronger frame maybe is the only reason I can think of.

That and I think cutting the frame and doing a 4 link would be easier that swapping diffs, engines, trans, wiring, making a fuel cell, custom motor mounts and the hundreds of other un-forseen obstacles involved in that kind of a build.

But you can put almost any engine config in almost any vehicle and it would definetly be a unique one of a kind cool truck!!:D

Either way - good luck Mick!! I'm sure you can make it happen!!:hello:

Ive been getting tired of my Red Truck especially after all the drama with this new engine. I have bought a 2002 Single Cab that I am going to put the new 7.1 in. It will be a Street/Strip Truck and alot of the gear from the Red Truck will go into this Blue one including the 4 Link Rear and Wheel/Tyres. I will put the Red one back to 4x4 with a stock engine and get it all dressed up to sell. Any thoughts out there? Heres a couple of pics of the new little baby. Has a 5.3 and 50,000 miles.

Looks cool Mick:coolspot: I cant wait to see the new motor in there.

Did the dog come with the truck? Or is that a optional extra:D

No dog Simon, but I skittled a kangaroo at 2am outside Goondawindi on the way home - smashed the plastic dam down the front and spent 1/2 hour cutting meat out of the front end at the next servo :(

What r u saying? You think it would be better 4x4?

It all matters how you want it. I am looking at a 03 area rcsb 4x4. I want to take and swap over the front and rear diff from the 2500 and run small tires and lowered for that sleeper look.

Kansas when I am home
I had a step side RC Z71 with the 5.3 and 4.10's, it was almost impossible to get that damn thing to hook up in 2 wheel drive it would chirp the tire every light even if you were tryin to be good and not get into it. And in the rain forget about it!!! I had to run 4 hi in town to not spin. Those plastic beds are VERY light. But that will be one sweet little rocket.

If you go 4wd, and drop it down, with sticky tires all around, that would be a force to be reckoned with! Ever see or remember the GMC Syclone and Typhoon trucks? Nasty turbo 4.3L chev V-6 and all-wheel-drive, they were wicked machines!

Yours would be like a bigger diesel Syclone! :D

PS: Can we have a smiley doing doughnuts
