Drove down south to the relatives tonight about 30 mile one way. On the way back around 9:00 pm I was on the interstate and in the fast lane crusing about 75 or so. In the slow lane a new Z06 (swear on the kids) pulled up and started screwing with me. We did a roll on from 80 (He got the jump) I passed and had him by 2 lengths when freighttrain decied to shut off? (something in the speed limiter table) I could have pulled him several more lengths on up to the 120 mark if the damn thing would have not defuled. I still spanked him good.....It's gonna be fun.

I have no doubt:fluffy: Since the new Z06's put about the same HP as our 02 and the Casper is about .5 faster in the 1/4 mile :baby:

I forgot to tell you that I left the speed limiter and tire size stuff to you. Let me guess it shut down around 98 mph.:banghead:

Oh well, at least you didn't hurt the Z06's feelings too bad, he still got to do a ricer style flyby when you hit the limiter.:rofl:

You might want to bump the limiter to say 180, if you plan on racing any more new Z06's.:D

Made u-joint sheild out of some 6061 8" Dia. 3/16 wall. Not required to have them here, but might need'em in MI? This Sled pull crap is cutting into my drag trim weight:mad:

Steve when u get the dates figured out let me no i no of a couple guys including myself that may join hopefully we can get a couple of two wheel drive dmaxs out there to pull so i will have compition what is going to be the weight limit for the pull do u no. I may get the f-450 6 speed 7.3 company truck and see what it has she weights in around 14,000 pounds with my 2 100 gallon oil tanks empty never did weight them full. But u can bet they will be full if i come

I hope you can make it down here sometime. We are planning an diesel only truck pull for the summer. We are looking for 100 trucks. Not sure of all the details yet, but it will be a friendly, run all, event. I'll post the date when it's official. Hope some Team Salad members will try and make it. One rule that I know is, No D'maxes allowed to set in the parking lot:D . That's for the Fords.
