 I pinged a couple different servers with the speedtest.net and got different reports .

Pinging Asheville, NC (less than 45mins drive)
3.79d
.91u

Pinging Atlanta, GA (more than 3 hours drive)
5.75d
.92u

Not 100% sure of the service my wife has opted for.

awesome if your not paying for a 22-50mbps connection lol.

17mbps is pretty good for a home connection. I just wish I could have the 13 I'm paying for lol.

Im paying $50/mo for cable. Guess its paying off. Hope you figure out whats up with yours.

Pretty nice, I'd love to be atleast 10mbps lol. Your wi-fi should be same as your LAN as most home routers are capable of 54mbps....

Some people think they are getting 100mbps on a lan or 54mbps frm wi-fi when they see it in there icon area lol

In theory, yes. In realty, not so much. A "G" Wireless connection shouldn't affect a speed test too dramatically since most home connections are under 20Mbps, but I've never gotten 54Mbps through a wireless AP. One of my customers has a 100Mbps (Yes, that's One Hundred ;)) XO internet connection and running a speedtest over wireless generally doesn't net a speed over about 20-30Mbps, and that's with new HP Procurve AP's. Running it wired pegs the chart.

Paying for 15/5 and Verizon decided to randomly give a bunch of people with FIOS 25/25 on the 15/5 Package. Plus I only have to pay $89/Month for Phone TV and Internet. :thumb:

x2 on the country, we pay for 1.5/1.5 right now:

We are going from the crap wireless antenna bolted to the side of our house to a better crap wireless antenna bolted to the top of our house, and should get 6.0/1.0 here as soon as the hay season is over. It'll cost us about half as much, so I'll live with the slightly lower upload speed.
