FrAme mounted fuel filter and pump?

i am going to be switching my filter over to a davco 382 head with fleetguard 2 micron filters

If installing a custom fuel system like you guys are talking about, how are you hooking the fuel line up to the tank? Just hooking it to the original hose?

Could always use something like this.
