I started doing my full egr delete and uppipes yesterday and broke a bolt ob the turbo. So we pulled the turbo out and when I looked into it I seen all the blades had a little chunk taken out of them but there was not too much shaft play. And feeling the blades it has some dings in them like something bounced around in there . Just can not win just under a month till my first pull at the keystone nationals and I find this out. but on the bright side it should be up and running for it.

hold that thought, sorry i zoomed in on the pic. it sure looks like something got caught in the inducer bleed groove and cut the wheel...

at first i just saw the tiny chips in the outer edge, sorry. drop in wheel or find a good used turbo is what i would do. unless you want to spend on an upgraded charger.

The worst part of it all is the shaft is still tight... I don't know how long its been like that and I really don't want to find out how long it will last. It sucks if I want to pull in one place I need to keep a stock unmodified charger so ill have to fix this one or pick up another stocker.

I would fix it because it is hurting power/efficiency. It is caused by the dirty air that is being pulled into the wheel through the map groove basically sand blasted the groove in the wheel. It is pretty common.

Yeah I figured something was up with it because me and my brother both had the same tune and setup for pulling and it just didn't seem like mine was all there. And its down a little on boost compared to everyone running my same tune I don't know if this caused it or not. Just glad I found it when I did, and Mark I will be intouch within the next few days.
