Not hacked but spambots are on the loose. All we can do is delete the threads when they are reported and ban the 'bots.

If you get a spam PM there is a button to report it. Use that and we can ban that account.

They are at it again, 5 or 6 of them this morning.

Can you set it up so every person that joins has to request to be a member, that would completely weed out the bots

What about requiring first posts to be in the "introduction" section?. Dont think many BOTs know how to read let alone provide a proper introduction.

Dont know if your site configuration can do this though

Probably. The 23 posts in about 2 minutes was interesting. Easily deleted, and I searched it's IP addy and banned all the rest, too.
