How many have tried nitrous with water/meth and had no issues?

I did back in 04 and ran it at the ATS dyno. Any one remember the thread "Almost 800"?

The intake froze over from condensation as the N2O froze the water in the intake tube. This is asking for big trouble. I did tests afterward and found the water was freezing in the intake but the methanol wasn't (it freezes at -210) and pretty much feed the motor straight methanol. Snow was blowing out of my exhaust (or it was ice chunks):eek:. I didn't think this was possible. Others that were watching told me about it.

Where was the meth injected? Nitrous?

Right before the intake horn where it goes into the engine. So I move the N2O nozzle to the pre I/C side. Not quite as much power (deminished returns) because the N2O started to warm up by the time it got in. It doesn't take much distance for it to boil after it's left the bottle and it's not in liquid form anymore. There has been some success running it by itself (N2O) pre turbo (not tested in my vehicle though). This maybe the key here to running them together with success (N2O preturbo, W/M right at engine intake).
