Anyone know what transmission is in there? When shooting for 9's or even 10's, the discussion usually moves from rods being weak and needing changed, to which tranny you using (keep Allison / go with Duraflight).

Thats a ford.. so I have a feeling they arn't using an Allison or a duraflight.

My guess is a very built 5r. Said they have had issues with it shifting wrong/slow, but thats about all I read on it. Just a guess anyway...

As far as dmax's.. most people now days stick with the allison. There are quite a few going very fast with them.

It's good to see the Ford guys have something to cheer about after all the sand they have had kicked in their face with the 6.0. Max'd Out is getting a total redo, should be ready in about a month. And yes it still on #2, we did have a small pill in it to help spool the chargers.

What? I thought the Ford transmission could hold 1,000 HP in stock form.
