How ironic..We used to run the east side of 512 a bit racing w/ scotty cobb, and larry kesner..Have to let me know next time ya'll ride..I've got a 0540 Hamant boat that needs some time put on it.

Glad to hear Dan..My current prob is they are using a counter rotating prop 20 blades at 15* The gear ratio from flywheel to prop is 2.42to1 we hav a 2.68to1. the props are inforcing such a load on the engine that it's just choking it down and not letting the turbo spool, if you can believe that. A 510 Hp 502 will spin the same prop same * 400rpm more.. I can not get the d-max to build more than 17psi boost with these props set to this degree..I'm thinking it's something electrical, but am starting to have my doubts.. Some type of T/C would be perfect..


Any codes in the computer? What year engine and pcm are you using?

It's been throwing a MAF sensor, I think there MAF is F-ed up..A few Injector current, and misfires. I fixed the rest of them through tuning, but i think the problem lies with load that the props are creating?? The best way i can describe it, is that it's like taking off in our trucks in 4th gear. They need to engineer some type of T/C to assist in spooling the turbo..IMHO? I can only get it to turn 2100rpm @ 15 to 17 psi.

There using a 04 LB7 same PCM 9044 os
