Looking at putting HID's in my fogs. I am wondering what bulb fits the fogs on an '06 :gmc: 2500HD? I heard a 9005 will fit in there. Also i am running 35w 6000k HID's in my low beams and 55w 6000k HID's in my high beams, would you go with 6000's in the fogs or 3000's? They will probably only be used in bad weather or when backroad driving. I would like to stay with 35w in the fogs as i think they will run a little cooler in that small housing. Does anyone have any pics of there fogs converted to HID?

:Thanks:

Ok. What color do you guys think? 6000k or 3000k? Like i said earlier, they will only be on during bad weather or backroad driving. Anyone have pics of either color in their fogs?

I just bought 6000 for the fogs. Came in this week. Perfect timing too one of the fogs blew last trip.

Got some hid h4 bulbs for the van too :).

H 10's for your foglights.. If your using them to drive in fog etc. Most people would recommend 3k over the 6k as you wont be able to see as well in the fog with ice blue lights..

I run 9005 35w 4300k in my lows and fogs, they put out the most light. Supposedly the higher k rating you go you lose light output and they're so blue or purple some stuff is hard to see
