fml injector stuck

Any body have any idea how to get a stuck injector out of the head all the others came out fine this one I've pride wiggle giggle smacked with a hammer welded a pair of vise grips to the injector and used a slid hammer with it absolutely no luck what's so ever bout to burn the bitch down been at it for two days and I've just about had it

I had one really stuck I sprayed penetrating oil around it and let it soak overnight. Got a bar under the hold down to pry and gave it a hard smack with a hammer- popped out

Ugh been here... Ended up welding a nut to where the solenoid threads on and using a 10lb slide hammer.. That's why I'm selling 7 injectors right now not 8

That's the animal I have at work for the Cat engines I work on... It's never failed me yet. Sure wish I could have built one when I got my Lilly one unstuck... I got it out after an afternoon of cussing it. I planned on building one the next day but it came out finally.

Good to know on the Lug nut, much cheaper than cutting a fuel line for the nut:thumb:

Well I got it to come out beat the living shit out of it with a hammer and it popped loose :thumb:

Hahaha. Been there before. Not with injectors but with outboard driveshafts into the lower unit, I've gone ape shit on a few before they let loose. One was yesterday.

So i installed a new injector put it all back together now around 1500 rpms truck has I slight miss and has a haze of blue smoke. the injector stuck wide open on my wife on her way to work she says she shut it it off when it started knocking. Did a compression text on it 400 psi in two cylinders other one 350 and the one that had the stuck injector is 300. Possibly a bent valve??????

Or it didn't seal in the bore. If it was stuck that bad, the old one was not sealing either

I have had a couple of Lmms that were a bear to get out! One had 30k and the other 60k. The injectors were ruined once I finally got them out.

Fixed injector was not sealed all the way... new problem now my dash says battery is not charging swapped battery's put a new alternator in still the same no charge any ideas
