I've noticed over the last few weeks that my DS floorboard, accelerator and brake pedals are vibrating like a son of a bitch... no noises but the vibration is strong enough that my feet begin to tingle. I don't like it. I spoke with James for a bit tonight and he had some great ideas. Just curious if anyone has had the same issue? It vibrates in park, drive and reverse I would say in drive it's slightly worse. I loosened my downpipe and moved it around tonight to no remedy. Ever since installing a PPE GT42 kit my DP has always rested on my up pipe. I checked my DS boost tube(ATS) for rubbing and I couldnt see anything. Im going to replace the motor mounts to be safe. The vibrating happens at idle, low and high rpm and on or off throttle.

Is that when the vibration started is when you installed that kit? I had a little issue with that when I put a s468 single on my old lml.. Pretty sure that it was the DP against the up pipe that was the deal..

I just started to feel I slight vibration, in my brake pedal sitting at idle. Havent look to see what is causing it yet. Curious to see what you find out with your truck.

Didnt you have a broken drivers side mount? That might be the cause.

Ya that's true Tom however I won't have the new mount for a few weeks. The vibration can also be felt on the PS floor board just as strong as the DS

Ya I loosened my DP on the back side of the turbo and disconnected it from my front pipe and shifted it away from up pipe it didn't make any difference

TX of course
On my truck I had a vibration like that but I would usually only in gear. It was the hot side intercooler pipe hitting the hydroboost pump.

I had a similar issue come up and it ended up being the exhaust on the torsion cross member had started to rub. It happened years after the install and I believe was just a fatigued hanger/s.

So nicky and i went round and round on his rig last night on the phone (besides making fun of steve :roflmao:). And im really thinking his dicked up motor mount is causing this and i also had him try brake standing in reverse to see if the pass mount was shot. he said it was moving a decent amount but not as bad as the driver so he would replace it as well. I have a feeling the engine is out of place and putting a little bind on the rear trans mount OR he may have a hydroboost going. Ive felt them go bad and vib but generally only when you press the brake pedal. his could just be that far gone.

Anyhow, waitin on his driver mount to show up to bolt it for him and a case of beer since he always finds some different craft beers that look damn good :D:D. ought to just make him drive out here and install it for him, probably forgot how to use a wrench in his time off :roflmao:

Take the ring off her finger for a test. If the vibration goes away, you nailed it bro.:thumb::baby:
