I'm just curious to know how many times a day, week whatever we put our trucks to the floor just for the hell of it

Only time I "floor it" anymore is at the race track. No real need on the highways.

I don't remember the last time i floored it. 3/4 throttle spins em pretty easy and tires are expensive.

Maybe once every 2 weeks? I pretty much never floor it; too afraid something is going to blow-up/break, intercooler pipe blow off, etc...

Not as much as I used to. I've been on something of a mileage kick for the last 4000 miles or so. In that time, I've only floored it 3 times.

Normally, I floor it at least once a week, just for the fun of it. Though I don't have enough power to destroy my tires as easily as many of you do... yet!

Maybe once a week? It's so weak (need a lift pump sooo bad & a cp3 probably) it depresses me not being fun. :( like yesterday I gave a Ford 7.3 guy a ride & it's so sick it didn't even impress him. :(. It used to run soo good when it'd hold rail pressure better. I need to log it to see just how bad it's draining.

But yeah, bout once a week.

every chance i get.:baby: i like to keep the allison shifting good at wot. it seems if you baby it or drive like a normal person for a few weeks then try flooring it the allison shifts all effed up cause it adapted to normal driving style. I used to reset taps a day before the dragstrip put about a hundred miles of aggressive driving on it and it shifted great. plus t/c is on its way out and i would like to get my warranty to cover a rebuilt trans.:D

A lot.. But not as much as I would like..(35mph in most of my town) then long highway drives.

And its really never from a dead stop.. normally from a roll, otherwise its just tire smoke..

I wish I could do it at a lower speed but I usually just ease into it so the trans doesn't downshift then right to the floor
