Floor It Diesel Piss Poor Experience

Guys,

I want to start off by saying that I chose to go to John @ Floor It diesel based on great referrals and his ability to modify a cp3; after all, he is supposedly the pioneer. For those of you that have had experience with his business, I am personally asking for your opinion based on customer service. With that said, I want to briefly describe my situation:

Dustin @ Diesel Addiction is installing the pump for me and is also having John modify it for him. We sent the pump off in September and didn't hear anything for awhile. I personally called the week before Thanksgiving and spoke with a co-worker just to clarify he had at least received the pump. Exited to hear, he said it was finished and should send out next day. Two weeks went by-nothing. Dustin told me not to call again since he is representing me. Finally, right before Christmas, Dustin calls and says John told him the pump just shipped and will be at his shop when he returns from Christmas vacation. Dustin returns and still no pump. He called John again and they were unable to give him a tracking number because the pump was shipped. Since then, Dustin has called multiple times and left messages but heard nothing. I became so frustrated I just started calling myself the past two weeks. Dustin and I have done everything we can do. What the hell is the problem here? I've heard of having a cp3 modified may take a long time irregardless who does it but nothing like this. Point being, I don't know John but I have heard great things about him and I know he is extremely busy. Having a pump modified may take awhile and that is perfectly fine. But when you are told for over three months that it is finished and it has shipped out, it kinda pisses me off. To me, that is the epitome of unprofessionalism. I feel helpless and frustrated.

Do some searching, he is notorious for taking a LONG time! I've heard of folks waiting for as much as 6 mths before. He apparently has fantastic pumps but I just don't see me personally dealing with that kinda crap.

Sorry to here that bud! If he did ship it then he should give you/Dustin a tracking number. If he had given you a tracking number then you would atleast know where it is or if the shipping company has lost the package.

I agree that it is probably time to pay him a personal visit to "see" your pump for yourself.

Thanks for letting us know who not to use. That is the most valuable part of this site.

That sucks dude, I'm having the same problems right now with a company. Not that long if a wait. But email saying it was personally built one night and its going out tomorrow, then call a week later wondering where its at and another employee tells me that its still on back order. Aleast get your stories straight... I decided I will probably just go with cp3x2 but I was thinking hard about Floor It in the past

We've done quite a bit of business with John where I work. He does put out a really good quality product, but he can be rather trying to deal with. Getting in touch with him can be a challenge, and almost every time something has been shipped, there have been delays. Good luck getting everything worked out, but what you're experiencing is nothing new.

Well that makes me feel a little bit better.

If anyone is able to get in touch with him I would appreciate it if you mention he needs to contact Dustin ASAP.

Thanks
