Guys,
I want to start off by saying that I chose to go to John @ Floor It diesel based on great referrals and his ability to modify a cp3; after all, he is supposedly the pioneer. For those of you that have had experience with his business, I am personally asking for your opinion based on customer service. With that said, I want to briefly describe my situation:
Dustin @ Diesel Addiction is installing the pump for me and is also having John modify it for him. We sent the pump off in September and didn't hear anything for awhile. I personally called the week before Thanksgiving and spoke with a co-worker just to clarify he had at least received the pump. Exited to hear, he said it was finished and should send out next day. Two weeks went by-nothing. Dustin told me not to call again since he is representing me. Finally, right before Christmas, Dustin calls and says John told him the pump just shipped and will be at his shop when he returns from Christmas vacation. Dustin returns and still no pump. He called John again and they were unable to give him a tracking number because the pump was shipped. Since then, Dustin has called multiple times and left messages but heard nothing. I became so frustrated I just started calling myself the past two weeks. Dustin and I have done everything we can do. What the hell is the problem here? I've heard of having a cp3 modified may take a long time irregardless who does it but nothing like this. Point being, I don't know John but I have heard great things about him and I know he is extremely busy. Having a pump modified may take awhile and that is perfectly fine. But when you are told for over three months that it is finished and it has shipped out, it kinda pisses me off. To me, that is the epitome of unprofessionalism. I feel helpless and frustrated.
