Here is a sneak peak at the new TapShifter V2 Module. This enlcosure is completely sealed, and features plug and play wiring. No pin pulling etc. The new TapShifter V2 comes standard with TCC control built in. There are no connections/taps required to MAP, TPS, VSS or any other signals. All information is gathered over the plug and play connections. The user interface will allow for manual lockup via button press, automatic lockup which is the current standard method, and unlock override. As well as the TapShift features.

Future functionality built into the board includes a transbrake and A&B trim solenoid pressure control. The TurboBrake module is built into the 04-05 model years with much lower pricing than buying all the products separately.

Stay tuned. Modules are in production currently.

In an effort to drive cost down, the TapShifterV2 has been through several design changes. However the design is now finalized and some of the production test models are being assembled now.

Johnny, the V2 will work on 6 Speed Equipped Kodiaks for now. The first release of the V2 is geared towards getting a more robust, yet more cost effective product on the market, because frankly every 5 speed truck needs a TapShifter right? If a guy says no, and he tows everyday, he has no idea what he is missing.

Future Development will push into supporting 5 speed kodiaks, and 5-6 speed conversion trucks.

We dont have the pricing figured out just yet. Once the production model is finalized, and its associated costs, we will re-evaluate the pricing and go from there.

As far as tests beds, we've got a few... A Red Reg Cab LB7 Comes to mind....
