The datalogger has 19 channels of analog input. The unit has all 19 channels available on 1 module with no thermocouple amp's to buy or additional modules. The harness has all 19 connections standard. It comes with 4 RTD temp sensors which are faster acting than type k pyro's, and two 0-100psi pressure sensors. There are still 7 channels of temp input available for which additional sensors can be purchased. There would be 4 additional pressure channels and two frequency inputs (turbo, shaft speeds, etc) which can also be switched over to additional pressure inputs via hardware jumper.

Also keep in mind the other channels can use any 0-5v sensors if you have something else in mind. We have a linear potentiometer sourced to measure suspension travel for sled pullers and drag racers, tweaking their setups.

We also feature a 20hz GPS chip, which is the latest offering in the industry, to monitor ground speed during sled pulling and drag racing. Something the other mfg's don't offer.

Here's a copy and paste rundown of what it costs to buy a racepack vs our logger. And at that you still have two different platforms that do not communicate. EFILive put in some effort to make this work very well with their product. You can black box log just the FPE datalogger (12v cummins, tractor, etc) or log a module with our PID's enabled. It's very powerful!

just wondering is there also a display for the sensors amd can you set alarms- if so hi/low?

and as previously asked what is sample rate?

how long does it log for? And how do you start the logging, is it trigered or manual?Or either or?

can you trigger other things such as nitrous via say boost or egt?

The GPS we use is 20hz update rate, which I highly doubt RacePak is using. If they are, that's good. If not, you'll be disappointed with GPS updates 1 time per second.. I was when we first used a 1hz GPS chip, hence the new version.

Then it may be the best option for you.. I don't want to muddy the water between products.. I want a product that puts the EFILive data and external data on the same screen. We are the only game in town for that, and have all the same features and some better than the current products do.

is the system logging the temps and pressures at 20hz as well?

We can do 200 fps standalone, but LBZ/LMM are running 25fps, and LB7/LLY are less. We can technically sample our A/D 1000 fps, but the OBD2 connections don't have that resolution so there's no point.

You can see in the screen shot that the GPS sends data every second, then EFILive posts the same value unless it's overwritten by new data on an update cycle, so you see the long 1 second flat lines stair stepping across the screen. I wasn't happy with this, so we switched GPS chips, and now have the ability to go up to 20hz update.
