I'm not sure how many of yall run flat beds on here. So this would pertain more to the working trucks I guess.

I have for years always ran Bradford beds, I love them an they make one hell of a bed, but... They don't powder coat for shit, main reason I even started buying Bradford's was the fact I could pick up brand new rusting ones cheap.

Anymore ideas? I would stay steel and don't really even care if it is skirted I would mount my own belly boxes anyhow. I have looked at cm but not sure on the prices.

The old lb7's bed is shot... I'll get some pics of it the front bulk head has been broke all the welds, the fenders are just shot passenger side has been blown off 4-5 times due to blow outs or jack knifeing. The bed floor is destroyed our 48' 6 horse got loose and slammed around on the chains (never have a teenage girl hook up trailer for you. And if you do be smart enough to check her work)

I'm just not gonna put money in it any more, and the truck current duty is local hauls and welding duty I just need a good versatile affordable bed

Ive seen a couple of dejana beds hold up for a long time. They are a local company on Long Island NY but i'm not sure if they have dealers nationwide.

Have you thought about making your own Jordan? My cousin did for his old 2002 power stroke and it turned out good.

I'll find a picture and post it up here.

I've wanted to make one or my pickup since I first got it but I don't really need one right now plus I haven't had a place to build one.

This trucks sole purpose is to have the f*ck beaten out of it'; and that CM bed holds it's own!

One of the rig welders I worked with this summer had a cm bed on his ford. It's been holding up really. He has a dually but bought a single wheel bed then custom made fenders for it that stick out to cover the duals. He mounted too boxes underneath then skirted the rest in. I love the way it looks.

i have thought about one, CM mortiz, hillsboro EBY herrin (1200-1500lb aluminum beds basic no opt is 6700.00)
i have a hard time putting a ~2000.00 steel bed on that weighs ~400lbs more than the bed i just took off, or 3200.00 for a aluminum bed that weighs about the same or more than the bed i took off and not use it..
