Yes, It can be done. I have 315 BFG's with Cognito UCA's, longer shocks, and stock keys cranked all the way up, and I have done the trimming to the back side of the front fender with a Metabo and rewelded/re'spray'painted the lip, and zip screwed the inner fender to the metal. I have NO rubbing except on the upper control arms, but I am running 17 inch NBS Aluminum Dodge rims that set in a long way. I think Hummer rims would be OK. They may rub a little on a turn. I don't even have lift keys. If you have keys and crank them with a little metabo'ing, I think you'ld be fine.

My brother just put 285 70 17's on his 07.5 and they rubbed a little. He trimmed a tiny bit and they r good now. I'm sure with a bunch of trimming they would work. I don't have a nbs but I ran 35x12.5x18's for a couple years on mine with a ton of trimming.

Hence the sled pulling forum. My bad. I'm no help on the nbs, but I pulled once with my 35's on there, 600lbs in the cab. A couple guys around here pull nbs trucks but they r all lifted on 35's.

I wouldn't do it, With your truck lowered in the front for pulling, its going to be tight. I hook with 35's, with a 6" lift it is a tight fit. I would be concerned about major rub issues. But if you are determined, It can possibly be done.. Just to manny red flags for me, if i were you..

The only reason I run them is for truck pulling. I make 6 point turns, so ya with bars down they rub big time. I used a little more finess and used a port-a-power.

I've pulled for 3 years with 35's. Like Rob said sledge hammer is your friend, and you'll have to trim some of your bumper also, and get use to 6 point turns. I went with a body lift this year its made life easier as far as manuvering around.

little update i got them to fit with no trimming cutting or hammering! It would have been nice to be able to keep the classic II's for looks but there no way theyd have fit without trimming the h2's worked well. I went with 315 duratracs they work great and hook hard! i like them more than sts's already

This s my truck. I'm on stock torsions keys and have flat cv angles. 35x12.5r20 -12 off set. It can be done just requires a lot of trimming and a sledge hammer. I can turn full lock and only rubs when I turn and hit a curb.

i run 33x12.50 sts on 16x10 rims, cant turn much with the front lowered for pulling. I change the tires when i get to the track, that is starting to get old. Last year i drove there on my 285 bfgs, but i wanted a taller tire and got my hand on these sts to use. I know the 305 bfg is actually shorter than the 285 but a inch wider. How do the 33s duratrac do on the road/ pulling. i have to drive 30 minutes to the pull.
thanks

I have 305s which are like 33.5 tall x 10" high fo pulling. I drop my bars down and weight up the front, and they do rub significantly even though I beat in the fenders, cut the bumper, and spaced it forward 1.5".

I wouldn't go with 35's in the front for pulling, but I do on the street.
