I love fishing, I was in Cocoa not even two months ago and stayed at the Ron Jon. I should have looked yall up. I even made it to tampa to Busch Garden....Man those coaster were fun.

My avatar pic was from my bahamas trip, we had hit a school of skipjacks and was having fun with some wooden plugs, not big fish but damn good eating:D

I would LOVE to go fishing in Florida. I've grown up at the Outer Banks, NC fishing the gulf stream since I was born. My father used to have a 43' Tiara express w/tuna tower. We'd fish a tournament called "The Big Rock" you might have heard of. Nothing better than deep sea fishing.....of course in NC, we have to go 55 miles b4 you hit the gulf stream.

Here's a pic of a nice wahoo I caught a few years back on the Tiara as well as some nice kings, dolphin & cobia. Oh yea, in December I caught a 58.6 lb. black drum on a spec rig with 8 lb. test line. Fishing for trout at the artificial reef, accidentally hooked up with a monster. Marine fisheries thinks it is the state record for lb. test.

The Navy trains out there alot. It's not out of the ordinary to have fighter jet's out there 50' off the water doing major G's!

I don't know about larry, but I am!!

I have plenty of room!!

Trav, you need to read 2nd page ,half way down, about coming back to Merritt Island and looking someone up:rolleyes:..........:D

Bonita are fun to catch, There actually a member of the Tuna family. Not much meat other than the backstraps.

In Florida?
I thought it was warm all year round in the gulf?

East coast of Fla. It was a wet 28* here last week! It's a wet cold down here too. I like to hear from northerner's who are in Fla when it's 28* they can't believe how diff the cold is down here.
