Well, took the truck out tonight for the first time down the track. I launched at just over 2000 RPM and promptly found myself out of the groove damn near in the other lane with massive wheel hop (remember I do have 37 inch tires). So more front end work to do for sure. After getting my, the track crew's and the entire crowds attention, got the truck back in the groove and ran a 1.94 60 foot, a 8.146@88mph in the 1/8th with the 1/4 time being 12.592 at 109.1 mph I held rail all the way down, so with a good 60 time, cutting some of the 8000 lbs and a little more fuel I think I can see 11s with the truck-if I don't break something first

Well maybe 11s are a dream; all I really care about is being faster than JMAZ's slow pile...
How are you guys with the lifted trucks setting up the front end for the track? I cranked my Tbars down some and let some air out of the tires. I'm thinking I need new shocks, let more air out next time and do a softer launch

Are you using the stock drive shaft? I really want to run my truck, next weekend I'm just not sure about the stock shaft. I'm running a Fabtech 8'' lift cranked all the way down, with a sd center link. I twisted up my after market shaft pretty quick, so I do not want the same to happen on the stock one.

lift was on the truck when I got it, but it looks stock. And quite skinny...but has yet to break

I let the bars down till I get my CV's heading up towards the tires just past level. Run 20 psi up front and 25 psi rear. I leave at 15-18psi any more and I get a lot of wheel spin.

Got one run in today before the rain. Very soft launch (after what happened last weekend). Ran a 2.0 60 5.353 330 foot. 8.068 89.97 1/8th and 12.423 111.55 in the 1/4. Truck felt like it was on a rail so solid. Less than 1600 EGTs at the end of the track and holding rail perfectly all the way down.

Yes I know I was really slow off the light, was trying to get off the line at the exact RPM I wanted. And the sun was in my eyes....
