Either go back to stock height or go with a 4" lift so you can crank the torsion bars down and have level CVs. I like to have mine cranked down even further and then when on the throttle they will level out.

4" Cognito kit may be your best bet, as you can run your current wheel setup. Tuff Country is a nice lift, but I believe you'll have to run a different wheel with a negative offset for that lift.

Ok well I guess im going to aim for a lift and put the stock keys back in and get the allseasons bracket and I should be good to go.

You may want to call and talk to Tony. From what he says his brace will not work with a lift kit. But I would still call him and talk it over with him.

You can NOT run tonys brace if you put a lift kit on. Hes said that in a few different threads before.

Imop, if you wanna pull cheap. Ditch the lift keys, and buy tonys bracket and a new idler pitman arm as im sure they are shot.

If you want to spend some money, ditch the lift keys, buy either the dmax stores full centerlink kit or Super Diesels new centerlink that lets you change between setting for steering and run a set of cognito braces with new idler/pitman are.

Only my second recommendation will work with a lift kit

:eek:I snapped a CV on the track and it definitely did NOT result in my tires looking at each other... like was said you really need to address that front end before you pull again.

Also, the reman CV that the autoparts stores sell are stonger then the new aftermarket ones that are even thicker.

ask me how I know

Well i just bought a new napa one, lifetime warranty. I dont plan on breaking another one, gonna fix the issue. If Tony's braket wont work ill probably at least get the cognito braces.

There's a lady who pulls with us at MTTP that has a 4"lift and does very well, my truck is stock height with the bolts completely out... both work great, i just don't have the turning radius she has when we hang weight lol. She does tend to break more drive shafts than me though hehe

I have a tough county 4" lift fully braced with custom tie rod ends set up for pilling or dd. $700.00 shipped if it helps. Nice came off a flordia truck. Always said I am going to use it on a truck of mine but never have.

Do you have any pictures or anything of the components? I might be interested, although I was thinking of going with a Cognito so I could run the same wheels I have. Good price though.

Its going to be a little bit before I buy a lift but that is a pretty good deal. Would the tc lift work with my wheels? They are -12mm offset and I think 4.53 backspacing.

Here's a 4" tuff country lift with suspension maxx keys clocked lower thank stock. Truck is running 33x13.50's with 20x10's and he doesn't have to drop it to pull or race.
