What tires and what pressure are you running . Any chance you can run a smaller rear block in the rear. I like my truck to run level if not a touch nose high going down the track.

Curtis- Tires are TSL Boggers 33x14-16.5 on 14" rims (@ 30lbs this time out). I've tried to run a 2" block instead of the 4", but the nose goes higher then the rear. With the 4" block it's pretty level down the line until I lift. I'm still using the stock hitch, just moved forward about a foot. Possibly a better hitch point or different locker other then stock in the rear? It would be nice to gain another 15-20'. Been thinking about a converter un lock too. I kill it at the end every pull.

you may be surprised how your truck pulls with the front end a little nose high. i used to pull my rear down against my stops to get the desired ride hight. what pressures are you running? also track conditions? if its a loose track from what i saw you can get away with pretty low pessures. ive ran as low as 25/15psi rear/front bias.

I usually run down to 20lbs all the way around, but I drove there and back so I left them @ 30lbs. I'll drop the psi this weekend and see how she does. Everything around here is 3" sand then hard packed dirt. This next weekend will be the tightest hook with clay/dirt.

Sounds like you have a good handle on your set up. Dual tires would help a ton. Sts work great on loose tracks.what gearing are you running? You may be over spinning you tires if you are tuning high rpm's. I run 456's and turn about 42-4500 down the track.

STS Im sure would bring your RPMs down and def hook a lot more. Derek06 switched from boggers to sts and dropped about 400 or so RPM's. Truck was night a day difference going from boggers to sts...
