As my buddy and I trade swear words at this LBZ we’re trying to start after doing head gaskets we were trying to remember who made the first dsp5 switch available to market. I feel like it was Kennedy or SoCal but can’t rightly remember. Any of the other OG’s on here recall the answer to this trivia question?

I want to say Kennedy. But I would probably have to do a little research before putting money on it

Pretty sure it was SoCal. Them and efi live were real close at the time and I think I remember the moment efi live released the dsp capabilities, guy already had a switch for them. Pretty sure he was part of the beta testing for dsp.

What don’t remember is if dsp2 was first and then dsp5 came out or if it was the same time. I wanna say dsp2 was first

Earliest discussion I could find was 2007. Yes, you are right. I believe it was Guy and Ross that made them happen.
