Hello everyone.

Just bought an 05 2500 4X4. Very impressed with the truck so far, and what a difference from the Jeep I've been driving. :thumb: Now that the initial thrill of driving off the lot is over I'm getting to the "what can possibly be wrong with/about to break on the truck" phase.

The truck was most likely used for towing since it has the trailer break controller, and the transfer fuel system. It does not, however have the upgraded mouth piece. I thought that was a "must" for LLY engines especially if you want to tow. I'm putting one on as soon as I can though.

What it does have is 1/2 a RFI system on it. Instead of a fully enclosed box on it, it has a fully exposed air intake filter, which I suppose only means that the hot air that the enclosed box is supposed to keep out now enters the turbo. If anyone got experience with running an RFI please share it with me. I understand that the stock air filter is just fine unless you run with much higher HP. However, this is what came with the truck, so this is what I'm stuck with for now.
