Are they better than any competitiors vanes? Any one got a picture of them? How do they sound? I'm looking for ear piercing whistle doing a home built lbz 72mm 10 blade charger? Opinions?

I think the turbine wheel is a big part of the whistle that you get with modified stock turbos. Supposedly the 10 blade 6.0 Powerstroke turbine wheel from the 2003 trucks is the one that makes them really make noise.

Ya, the 6.0 10 blade turbine has a stupid loud whistle... I listen to them obnoxious bastards in the parking lot at work:thumb:

I have one of the earliest sets, and maybe the first set in an LBZ. This is in an otherwise stock turbo. They might very slight change the quality of the sound, but definitely not the volume.

Vanes will give you very little to no sound. Porting/polishing or a 10 blade turbine wheel is what does it.
