Finally needing a converter for the van. Will the 6l90 converter work?

Just needing to know if someone knows if the 6L90 converter will fit the 4L85e and if it's better?

Not sure but I think I answered my question. I read the 6l has 34 spline and the 4L has 35.

What converter would work well for towing with the van in the 4l85? 10k lbs max

A good single disc with upgraded piston from a reputable builder. Suncoast or Goerend. If it's high mileage I would re bush the pump and stator support shaft. If those bushings are worn, your TCC will not work very well.
