I think it looks pretty good considering the beating I have thrown it in the last 3 1/2 years, what do you guys think? Pistons look good no real burn pattern, it was definetly leaking out of the rear cylinder, I had the rear two cups come out with the injectors too. Gonna clean them up and put it back together!!! Wish me luck!!!! Thank you to Tysmith for helping out.

I need to get the correct oil cooler housing gaskets, I need the large gasket that seals the housing to the block, and also the two smaller gaskets that seal the cooler to the housing inside, anyone have the GM part numbers? They already sent me the wrong ones.

the big oil cooler housing gasket is NOT available...the only way to get it is to buy a new oil cooler....

thats why everyone says DONT take the oil cooler apart.

Yeah I had the same problem. I used Ultra Black sealant and it worked for the most part. I have a very small weep but nothing major. It's the kinda of thing that bugs me and I will eventually buy a new one but 5,000 miles later it still holds.

Good to hear, I'm just a little concerned about sealing the cooler to the aluminum housing internally, hope it doesn't leak oil into the coolant.
