My back tires are pretty bald but the fronts have great tread still so I'm not sure what happened. Had my tires originally at 34 front and 28 rear then after my 8.17 pass I ran again and got a 8.23 with a 1.87 60. So I kept dripping psi slightly each time and couldn't do any better worse pass was a 8.29.

I had the fronts and rears all the way stiff because I did some practice launches before and anything other than that In the front and it would blow the tires off In the front

Pretty sure Reece had around 24-25 in the fronts and 20 in the rears give or take...

The lowest I went was 20 in rear and 22 or 24 in front still could get it to hook leaving at 10 pounds with my front shocks at the highest setting .

Maybe it was just poor track prep. We're others having traction issues as well? I cut 1.8 60 foots with 275 falcons, blown shocks, and a full weight crew cab zf leaving under no boost just a hard dump front going sky high. I think u would kill that in a reg cab with nittos.

Ya they are on 12 wide wheels but that track was pretty crappy but there were a couple trucks with 420s and they were cutting good times but my buddy has the same size wheels on 420s and he wasn't cutting very good 60s either ..

I had them set preloaded at 2 flats at first then went to 3 flats and no better lol . I just need more time out there to mess with everything. All the passes I made were the practice runs then they decided on doing a bracket race and my first round I red lighted so I got knocked out and I would have one that round oh well lol

That's about what I thought it was. I was hoping for 7s just have to get her to hook .

I wonder if those 12" wide wheels are doing something weird to the tread on your launch? I about crapped when Reece showed me his time slip with that 1.5 on there. Your running the 305x50rx20 420's yes?

it would have a tendency to cause the center of the tire to cup in towards the wheel more so than on a 10" wide or narrower wheel. specially at lower pressures. dropping tire pressure might not be the right way to go with those wide wheels on there.

Hmm that makes sense. I know that tire will 60 good if the track is prepped and the truck is setup.
