Build some brackets, thread stock cooler fittings into new cooler, plug it in and go.

I have had my G-Max 5 kit with another 1056 on the road now for a little less than 1000 miles and i figured i would give my input on it

i have not been able to get the trans over 150 degrees in traffic or beating the snot out of it with my home made trans cooler.

the shifts are smooth as glass and i couldn't be any happier.

my cooler is not an ordinary cooler i had it coated with some special coating that makes the cooler get cold when air blows across it. its pretty amazing to feel it get cold with 100 degree air blowing across it

What kinda coating is this? I read someone had great results with a 6.0 powerstroke cooler but had fitting issues IIRC, that earls cooler might be another option.. Is it physically much bigger than stock?

the cooler is around 3" taller and like 1" wider for the earls the 6.0 cooler is massive but it requires a little more than plug and play:thumb:
