IIRC i'm pretty sure you have to pull the trans dipstick to get it to come out the top. Its a tight fit for sure but you can get it out in one piece without cutting it, at least on mine i did. Good luck man i feel for ya
I was beating on the top of his downpipe for 15 mins with a hammer and a 4" metal pipe for it to come out :rofl:

As of 6:30pm az time shes is breathing through twin turbos! Just waitin on trent to send me a dsp5 tune and its off to play. Boy that was a damn chore lol. Shock hoops all modded, inner fender is sorta formed to the down pipe lol. Got a very tiny leak at the valve cover where the fitting bolts in but i didnt teflon tape it ( completely spaced it). Just gunna tape that tomorrow. Otherwise shes definitly idles a bit quieter and will spool up quick if you power brake it ( the two black marks on the concrete will back that up lol). So excited to go play now!

Thanks trent! Ill call ya tomorrow about how shes runnin. Its got a rattle like a powerstroke and the throttle has like a dead spot when you first push it
Yeah boy! Not quite though, hose clamp on the coolant res broke so gotta get one of those and the exhaust is rattling on something

teh ratchet strap we used to finally yank the damn down pipe out, what a bitch to do
bare passenger side engine compartment. pretty much where we stopped friday night.
hot pipe in!! kinked the damn a/c line though its still blowin cold, we will see this summer i guess. Also bypassed the stock fuel filter head since i have a airdog II
exhaust housing and down pipe in, you can see it hits the shock hoop. it needed to drop down another 2 inches to meet with the hot pipe so we took the shock tower out for the time being
the big bad boy setting in place
chopped up intercooler pipe.
and back together! fits like a glove
side veiw of how i did the oil drain and ran the lines.
here she is all together!!! oh so beautiful

Kick me a log over of both , where its rattling and catch the dead spot should be easy to fix , looks good now you just need to detail the motor up nice , truck looks great , front end looks mean
True but even lately haven't been under the hood much nor will I other than oil changes lol...I've settled with the idea thats shes a DD

haha im tellin ya, your gunna like it from all you keep tellin me you do! we will probably be doin a trip to the dunes in mid feb or possibly mid january if you still want that kit my buddy has.
sort of lol. i formed it around the pipe but since my shock hoop is so close to the down pipe, it pushes the liner into it so i have a good feelin im gunn have to cut the liner out around the pipe
that i can vouch for 100% but pullin the tires and setting the frame on low jack stands makes it much better (i just didnt have any jack stands free for my truck lol)

Will do trent! Also noticed she smoked like a son of a gun this mornin when i first started her. Detail will be comin this wednesday so i can get the truck washed and clean all the pipes

btw, how do you guys have your little boost valve deal set? (the adjustable deal that goes on the stock trubo wastegate line). i havent put mine on yet

I just sent you that tune back with the timing we used in your last one so that should help , the dead peddle I will need that log though , on the regulator turn it all the way tight ( arrow pointing to "off" ) , then loosen it a turn at a time then test , go as far as you can until boost starts to drop then go back up just a hair.
