Im trying to gather parts for my fuel system, i am going to use one of the aeromotive pumps that we normally use in our 6.0 and 6.4 fuel systems. the major problem is that the pump is a -12 line so i need a filterhead that is atleast -10 so flow to the fuel block isnt restricted and the pump doesnt burn up.

On the ford kits we pull the fuel through the 2 micron filter then pump, with the picky lb7 injectors i dont want to chance it and not filter after the pump.

anyone have any ideas?? i thought maybe i could just put the filter after the pump but the manufacturer says its not reccomended.

I'm thinking of something from my race car setup. and it should work for you just have to look up the part numbers all from Jegs or Summit.

what size inlet outlet, reason im really wanting at least 5/8(-10) is im not getting any positive pressure on some of the bigger tunes, i will be adding a bigger pump but i cant justify that if i add a filter setup that is going to cause a bunch of restriction.

-12 o-ring boss I think, the black lines in the photo are 1/2" so I had to adapt down. I can get the exact size once I go to work tomorrow.

Donaldson P562262 is what I run. Its has 5/8" inlet/outlet and I run a CAT 1R-0749. The filter head will flow 180gph and I forgot what the filter will flow but it will flow more than I need.

I keep CAT 175-2949's here at the shop. They are completely enclosed with a drain valve. From what I've been able to search, you should be able to use that instead of a 326-1642 that has the spin on bowl...right?

BTW, nice set up BurnDown.:thumb:
