i was testing my new gauges yesturday when i floored the truck around 70mph the truck didnot down shift like normal but at about 95-100 the tranny just lett go and i red lined i put the truck in neutral and back in gear and it worked fine any ideas
how bad is a limp for a truck i have heard alot about this and never none the extent of damage
i would scan it , sometimes you pop codes and the MIL wont show on the dash . it can not limp without a code . the code is what causes the limp ( or disengagement)no codes no lights, and i have had a limp before and this seemed nothing like it
could be a 1093 since he was full throttle at such a high speed
seems like i had to , but i had to for a slip also or i was stuck in third gear . never tried going to neutral .Wouldn't he have to shut it off though for the 1093 to go away?
