is a lly ficm the same as a lb7 or is there a difference. and has anyone ever had their ficm do anything weird????

well my lb7 is still acting the same as it did prior to the new engine. i just put in a new complete engine and it still does not seem to be fueling properly. it fuels heavy and normal at take off then completely clears up and u cant beg it to smoke. as a matter of fact it is putin out some white smoke. would the ecm or the ficm be the next area to look. or what else could it b.

Not positive but a MAF will also act like that

did you ever find a solution? my truck does the exact same thing and i put in a new engine too and it still does it!
