Fuel flows through the FICM to keep it cool......That is one off the issues of running a lift pump over 14psi, it blows out the seals in the FICM.

You mean because the fuel lines are looped together? That's not done yet, I'm hooking those back up :D

I get it, yes thats why me and Simon keep asking about the cooling.

There has been discussion since the fuel runs thorugh the ficm and the fuel temp can get pretty high that the ficm might process faster and run smoother if it was cooled by something other than fuel

What seals? The banjo bolt seals?

I say don't run fuel through it, if you don't have to.

Find something else to cool it with.

Anyone have an idea what temp the fuel is when going through the FICM? Let's say it's a pretty hot day, your running at about a 1/4 of a tank, and your hauling a pretty heavy load.

Just something to think about.
