I hope this is the right thread, if not i apologize. I just have a quick question (maybe not that quick).

I have an 02 LB7. 6" Lift on 35" tires. 4" straight exhaust and an aftermarket torque converter and a stage 2 clutch set in the alison. Its running stage 2 efi live with edge cts screen.

About 3 days ago i played in the mud a little. Well yesterday it had a weird start (took an extra couple seconds of cranking) and then in about 30 yards died. I noticed that i was able to pump up the fuel filter pump a bit i got it to start and once it got going it ran fine. Well i let it sit for a couple hours and replaced the fuel filter. thought all was good. well this morning it started perfect, went about 40 yards and started throbbing around 300-600 rpm, i let off the throttle and gave it 20 or so seconds and it leveled out and then ran fine for awhile. my edge showed codes:
p0201,0204,0206,0207,1261

because of this i assumed ficm.... well a salvage yard said they had one for 250 and i could return it if it didn't work (my wife drove 3 hours to get it). turns out they gave me an LLY model.

will this work in my truck (i searched but couldn't find out if it would without replacing the heads)?

do you think the ficm is the actual issue?

This is my daily driver, please help!!! Thanks in advance (in retrospect i shouldn't have been playing in the mud in my A-B truck).

When you say you lost prime in your system that means that you have a fuel leak somewhere

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk

i don't know if i lost prime it just wasn't super hard....

i replaced the injectors about 8 months ago and haven't had problems until my mud fest.

efi live shows dfrp and afrp and they appear to be almost dead on (not sure if that helps)
and my injector rates are 0.0 when running.

those trouble codes relate to ficm i believe.

The FICM's do die from time to time. I doubt it's your ECM. Have you gone through and checked your wire harness, partially going to the FICM?

I disconnected the two connectors to check for dirt /debris and water but they looked good....

my whole engine bay was covered in muddy water.....

I guess you'll probably never find where the short occured. I would start with the FICM. I don't suppose you know anyone local that you can swap with for testing?

unfortunately not, and the shops around here don't appear to have one laying around to try....

thats why my wife just drove 3 hours... just to find out that the idiot at the recking yard gave her the only one he had and it was lly.

do you know anyone trustworthy that might have one for sale? (or lying around to test haha)
