Was talking to a buddy and I guess a guy with a LMM went 11.99 on a stock lily charger and I said I was pretty confident people have been way faster.
I had remembered Matt's 11.02 but knew Buck went faster. When you think about what he and Jess were doing back in 2004 compared to what we know now, their accomplishments are even more impressive.

I can remember seeing matt race in person when we had a local diesel race. Pretty sweet stuff
He didn’t spray. He’s local to me and used to work for me. I did the Trans in his truck and can vouch for no spray. We have another ccsb lbz running 12.0 on fuel only.
While the red truck did go 11.99, he has an lly turbo, Trans, 50% inj and dual cp3 because his valley pump was shot. Still has factory y bridge etc. I know it’s not the fastest out there. But as far as a legit full weight, daily driver on fuel- this has to be it.

Congrats on the times but nothing to brag about with a built fuel system. Think stock cp3/injectors would hold some more weight.
I wasn’t bragging, just simply saying it wasn’t spraying. I think a stock fuel system would be tapped out long before that point.

Anyone who's running mid-12s or lower with a full weight truck deserves some props. Once you hit 11s, I dont care how you did it...thats impressive.

Exactly, anybody that say 11's or even 12's isn't fast has no clue or they have a super light weight car and can't compare
