This thread was about ONLY LIMITED BY STOCK TURBO. Fuel system is up for grabs along with any other mod. People have made 600 on a stock turbo before

Ya thats what i thought lol. That's why i said earlier there's gotta be someone that has hit the 11's with a stock turbo. bigger cp3 and sticks and it shouldn't be that hard to get there:thumb:

Track times

Tom the white truck is my daily driver now. It's all I have now but I will still run it at the track and run the 11.90/12.00 class with it. I don't think the dragster will be any fun to just go to the track to play. It's to much work!

I think Joe (fctry286) would be close of he got rid of his lift. His truck dynoed just shy of 600 with stock turbo and fuel parts. It's an EC/SB lb7.

Just because you have the hp doesnt always mean your truck is faster. Perfect example. Dustin from diesel addiction has a guy with a lly stage 3 floor it, 100% overs and drop in batmo and has dynoed 636hp. My stock injector, turbo, cp3 lly has dynoed 527hp. At Rudy's even I was running 7.70 1/8 mile. And he was running 8.1/8.0 1/8 mile. My truck is set up for racing. His was not. So I think the way the truck is setup has alot to do with these low times. Just my opinion.

05chevy could you let me know how your suspension is set up? I'm trying to set my truck up for racing as well. Just wondering if I'm missing something or need to do something else. Pm if you want.

Thanks ED!

I do and you are correct! I have lost 35 lbs but need alot more. Chassis setup is everything in racing. My truck 60' a 1.53 when I went 12.15. I also run a 7.68 in the 1/8. The first part of the track is the most important.

The first 1/8 is where I'm having trouble with the van.

Well, Im a friggin dumbass. (Yeah, some of you wholeheartedly agree.)
I went looking at old threads from years back, and Buck and Jess were running 11s with a stock turbo back in 2003/4. NLDP did too in 04. I think that Ratlover ran 11s in his truck on the stocker, but not sure. Also, I think CrankItUp had a truck that did it. So it can be done. Good luck in trying Ben. You'll sure have fun doing it.

That was a damn good run for full weight. A lot try and never get there stripped down

That event was the first time leaving in 2nd gear. We will see what 1/4 mile times I can pull in a few weeks at 6200lb
