What was Josh H's time with the dumpster? I think he is probably the fastest time with stock block. 10.8x??

Mine wasn't super quick in the 1/8 because of the 2wd thing, but the 10.8 pass was a 6.95 @ 101.5 mph. That was a 100% stock motor down to the factory head bolts and gaskets.

Thats insane! Any idea what you race weight was that pass? Also 60' 330'?

I went 6.85 in 1/8 mile. 10.6 in 1/4 mile with stock engine LLY back in 2011. Bent all 8 rods on that pass. LOL

Was that in the c10? Also do you have race weight, 60' 330' for that pass?

Could you tell which part of your pass the rods failed? Any idea what rpm you shifted? Also hp torque? Was it an allison trans?

Yes in the C10

race weight 5350

60' = 1.49

330 = can't remember

rods failed. not sure. I started hearing a tick noise on the pass before this one. I loaded in a bigger tune and made another pass. The tick got loader. Tore that motor down and found all 8 pistons where hitting the crank shaft counter weights as the rod came down!! That's how bad the rods were bent.

Think it dynoed 760 to the tires. Can't remember Tq.

Mike L built allison.

When the 1/2 ton was still a stock LLY it went 10.58 in the 1/4, 6.91 in the 1/8. Brett has me beat in the 1/8 mile. I made several passes on that tune with a 150 shot but when I turned it up 100us & 2 degrees I bent rods like Brett did.

Surprisingly, my race weight was about the same as Brett's, 5320 lbs. Here's a complete breakdown of my time slip

60': 1.673
330: 4.542
1/8: 6.956
MPH: 101.52
1000: 9.067
1/4: 10.868
MPH: 124.82

Like I said earlier, this engine was 100% stock including turbo, injectors, and CP3 with about 165k miles on it. I did have some nitrous on it that I was spraying on that pass; it was a dual stage kit with a .061 and a .052 jet. I finished out the year racing that motor and pulled it to beef it up, and everything was still perfect inside.

Even though both Brett and Aaron went quicker than me, I'm still claiming the record because unlike both of them, mine was a factory engine in a factory application, unlike their swaps! :frog: :catfight:

I like that idea of you keeping the record (it would be harder to for me to take it from Brett or Aaron):roflmao:

Lol. Its pretty funny. A couple weeks ago i made a pass and steam and coolant blew all over the track with a giant pop. I was kind of exicted that i might get to build it, but it was a heater hose that was to close to the turbo.

I still bring the winch every time i race this thing!
